PATNA: बीबीसी डॉक्यूमेंट्री पर बैन के खिलाफ याचिकाओं पर शुक्रवार को सुनवाई हुई. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने नोटिस जारी कर केंद्र सरकार से जवाब मांगा है. केंद्र को इस मामले में तीन महीने में जवाब देना है. इस मामले में अगली सुनवाई अप्रैल में होगी.सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने केंद्र को बीबीसी वृतचित्र ‘इंडिया: द मोदी क्वेश्चन’ को ब्लॉक करने के अपने फैसले से संबंधित प्रासंगिक रिकॉर्ड पेश करने के लिए कहा है.सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा कि हम सरकार से इससे जुड़े आदेश की फाइल मांग रहे हैं और इसकी जांच करेंगे.भारत सरकार ने डॉक्यूमेंट्री को प्रोपेगेंडा पीस बताते हुए इस पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया था.फैसले के खिलाफ प्रशांत भूषण,एन राम, महुआ मोइत्रा ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में याचिका दायर की थी.
डॉक्यूमेंट्री को भारत में बैन करते हुए इसे शेयर करने वाले यूट्यूब वीडियो और ट्विटर लिंक को ब्लॉक करने का आदेश दिया गया था. यूट्यूब वीडियो और ट्विटर पोस्ट को हटाने के सरकार के फैसले की विपक्षी पार्टी की तरफ से जमकर विरोध किया गया और इसे सेंसरशिप कहा गया.सुप्रीम कोर्ट में जस्टिस संजीव खन्ना और एमएम सुंद्रेश की बेंच ने एन राम, महुआ मोइत्रा, प्रशांत भूषण और एमएल शर्मा की याचिकाओं पर सुनवाई की. इस दौरान याचिकाकर्ताओं के वकील सीयू सिंह ने कहा, यह एक ऐसा मामला है जहां सार्वजनिक डोमेन में आदेश दिए बिना आपातकालीन शक्तियों का इस्तेमाल किया गया. ट्वीट ब्लॉक कर दिए गए हैं. इस पर वकील सीयू सिंह ने कहा कि डॉक्यूमेंट्री से बैन हटना चाहिए. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा कि यह भी फैक्ट है कि लोग डॉक्यूमेंट्री को देख पा रहे हैं. बेंच ने इस मामले में केंद्र सरकार से तीन हफ्तों में जवाब दाखिल करने को कहा है.
बीबीसी ने ‘इंडिया: द मोदी क्वेश्चन’ नाम से डॉक्यूमेंट्री बनाई है. दो पार्ट की ये डॉक्यूमेंट्री पहले पार्ट के आते ही विवादों में घिर गई थी. इसमें 2002 के गुजरात दंगों के दौरान तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की भूमिका पर सवाल उठाए गए थे. डॉक्यूमेंट्री में दावा किया गया है कि यह गुजरात दंगों के दौरान की गई कुछ पहलुओं की जांच रिपोर्ट का हिस्सा है. वहीं केंद्र ने इसे प्रोपेगैंडा पीस कहा था.याचिका में सरकार के फैसले को मनमाना, दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण और असंवैधानिक बताया गया है.
