जदयू के पूर्व राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष व केंद्रीय मंत्री आरसीपी सिंह मोदी मंत्रिमंडल में शामिल होने के बाद पहली दफे आज पटना पहुंचे. आरसीपी सिंह के स्वागत में पार्टी नेताओं ने पूरी ताकत झोकी थी. राजधानी को बैनर-पोस्टर से पाट दिया गया. एयरपोर्ट से जेडीयू कार्यालय तक आरसीपी सिंह का रोड शो था. लेकिन पटना हाईकोर्ट पहुंचते-पहुंचते आरसीपी सिंह की तबीयत खराब हो गई. वे जिस पिक-अप वैन पर रोड़ शो के दौरान सवार थे. उसी गाड़ी में बैठ गये. कार्यकर्ताओं ने बड़ी तेजी से उनकी गाड़ी को आगे बढ़ाया. उनके स्वागत में आये लोग हाथ में माला-लिये खड़े रह गये और उनकी गाड़ी तेजी से जदयू दफ्तर पहुंची.
जदयू दफ्तर पहुंचते ही आरसीपी सिंह प्रदेश अध्यक्ष के चैंबर ले जाया गया है. बताया जाता है कि अधिक धूप और गर्मी की वजह से उनकी तबीयत खराब हो गई. लिहाजा वे उसी गाड़ी में बैठ गये. इस दौरान आरसीपी सिंह के साथ परिवहन मंत्री शीला कुमारी भी मौजूद थीं.
आरसीपी सिंह के स्वागत में रोड़-शो का समापन जदयू कार्यालय में हुआ. इसके पहले राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष ललन सिंह जब पहली दफे पटना पहुंचे थे तो उनके स्वागत की भी जबरदस्त तैयारी की गई थी. ललन सिंह का भी रोड- शो पटना एयरपोर्ट से शुरू होकर जदयू कार्यालय गया था. जहां पार्टी कार्यकर्ताओं ने उनका स्वागत किया था.
