GAYA:विश्व योग दिवस पर मिर्जा गालिब कॉलेज में न मात्र योगाभ्यास किए गए बल्कि योग के महत्व पर भी चर्चा की गई.इस कार्यक्रम में कॉलेज के प्राध्यापक,कर्मचारी एवं छात्र -छात्राओं की भी शिरकत रही. लगभग एक घंटे से अधिक समय तक विभिन्न प्रकार के योगाभ्यास किए गए और योग के महत्व पर चर्चा की गई. कॉलेज के प्रोफेसर इंचार्ज डॉ शुजाअत अली खान ने कहा कि आज इस तरह की हमारी जीवन चर्या हो गई है जिसमें योग हमारी सेहत को दुरुस्त करने का काम कर रहा है. उन्होंने कहा कि मोटापा तमाम रोगों का जड़ है,जिसे योग के माध्यम से ही छुटकारा पाया जा सकता है. उन्होंने बताया कि ह्रदय रोग से बचाव,तनाव से कमी, और जोड़ों के दर्द से छुटकारा जैसी बीमारियों से निजात पाने के लिए योग एकमात्र रास्ता है.
वहीं मनोविज्ञान विभाग के प्रोफेसर डॉ. सरफराज खान ने कहा कि कोरोना काल में हमें शरीर में मौजूद ऑक्सीजन की महत्ता का पता चला . योग से रक्त प्रवाह दुरुस्त होता है और हमारे शरीर में ऑक्सीजन की पूर्ति होती है. उन्होंने माना कि हमें जीवन में एक घंटा रोज योग के लिए निकालने की जरूरत है. गठिया और विकलांगता जैसी बीमारियां योग के माध्यम से खत्म की जा सकती हैं.आज हृदय के स्ट्रोक के खतरे बढ़ रहे हैं. अगर हम नियमित व्यायाम करें तो यह खतरे कम किए जा सकते हैं. इस अवसर पर डॉ. फजलुर रहमान ने कॉलेज में एक योग का सर्टिफिकेट प्रोग्राम चलाने की भी मांग की, ताकि सेहत के साथ रोजगार के मसले भी हल किए जा सकें.इस योगाभ्यास में अन्य लोगों के अलावा मेहंदी हसन, सज्जाद हैदर वारिस, राहुल कुमार, एहसानुल्लाह ज़हीर, मो. कमाल आदि भी मौजूद थे.
