The United States has once again launched a deadly attack on Iran, targeting Qeshm Island. This is a major move by US President Donald Trump amid the midterm elections. The US had been carrying out small attacks over the past few days, but had not openly escalating.

However, it has now launched a major attack by launching a barrage of missiles at Qeshm Island. At least five powerful explosions were heard on Iran's Qeshm Island on Monday. Explosions were also reported in the nearby city of Bandar Lengeh. Voting for the midterm elections is scheduled for Tuesday in the US. Trump has already hinted that he could attack Iran at any time.

In a phone interview with Axios on Monday, US President Donald Trump said that the US has significantly weakened Iran's economic situation, but is willing to give diplomacy more time. Trump said, "We will do something, but there's no hurry. We have destroyed them economically." They have no money, no petrol, and the people there are tired of it.

Keshm Island, covering approximately 1,445 square kilometers, is Iran's largest island. Once known as a free-trade zone and tourist destination, it has now become a major military base.

Located at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz, this island is strategically important. The United States considers it a major military threat for several reasons.
