GAYA:बिहार समेत देश के तमाम विश्वविद्यालयों में इसी वर्ष से 4 वर्षीय स्नातक की पढ़ाई शुरू हो रही है. नई शिक्षा नीति को ध्यान में रखते हुए साइंस आर्ट्स और कॉमर्स में 4 वर्षीय स्नातक का विषय बार कोर्स स्ट्रक्चर के बारे में मिर्जा गालिब कॉलेज में एक महत्वपूर्ण वर्कशॉप का आयोजन किया गया. जिसमें इस कोर्स के बारे में विस्तार से प्राचार्य डॉ.शुजाअत अली खान ने बताया. उन्होंने बताया कि साइंस आर्ट्स और कॉमर्स में क्या-क्या पढना है तथा इसके अंकों का निर्धारण किस प्रकार किया जाएगा. उन्होंने कहा कि इस मेजर कोर्स या ऑनर्स में जहां सोलह पेपर होंगे, वहीं माइनर कोस में 10 पत्रों को पढना होगा. 4 वर्षीय स्नातक कोर्स में छात्रों की 75% उपस्थिति लाजमी होगी हर पत्र में 30 अंक कॉलेज छात्रों के परफॉर्मेंस और उपस्थिति पर दे सकेगी. स्नातक का यह कोर्स 6 वर्षों में मुकम्मल किया जा सकेगा, जो कि पहले अधिकतम 5 वर्षों में पूरा करना होता था. तमाम कॉलेजों में 4 जुलाई से नए पाठ्यक्रम के अनुसार पढ़ाई शुरू हो जाएगी. इस कोर्स में आई एससी के छात्र ही बीएससी कर सकेंगे. लेकिन कॉमर्स और आर्ट्स में ये बंदिश नहीं होगी. उन्होंने बताया कि इस पाठ्यक्रम की सबसे बड़ी विशेषता यह है कि स्नातक का कोर्स जितना कंप्लीट होगा उसी के अनुसार प्रमाण पत्र भी प्रदान कर दिए जाएंगे.
6 सेमेस्टर में जहां ऑनर्स की डिग्री मिलेगी, वहीं 8 सेमेस्टर में ऑनर्स के साथ रिसर्च की भी डिग्री मिल जाएगी. जिसके बाद कोई भी छात्र डायरेक्ट पीएचडी कर सकता है. 8 सेमेस्टर के ऑनर्स वाले अगर एम. ए करना चाहें तो इसकी अवधि मात्र एक वर्ष की होगी. यह भी बताया गया कि इस सेमेस्टर सिस्टम से छात्रों को लगभग दोगुनी फीस अदा करनी पड़ेगी, पर उनके पास सब्जेक्ट चुनने की लगभग आजादी होगी. पाठ्यक्रम का निर्माण इस प्रकार किया गया है कि तमाम छात्र तमाम प्रकार की जानकारियां हासिल कर सकें. उदाहरण के लिए साइंस वाले भी जहां स्वच्छ भारत के बारे में पढ़ेंगे.वहीं सोशल साइंस वाले भक्ति परंपरा का अध्ययन करेंगे. कॉमर्स वाले भाषा और संचार का अध्ययन कर पाएंगे. इस प्रकार सार्वभौमिक ज्ञान की दृष्टि से नई शिक्षा नीति का चार वर्षीय स्नातक पाठ्यक्रम महत्वपूर्ण होगा. इस वर्कशॉप में कॉलेज के तमाम शिक्षकों ने अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज की थी.
